Here, special for all of those who don't know what rhubarb looks like. This greengrocer's stall with Spanish onions, all sorts of potatoes, and some wonderful rhubarb stalks shows us those deep-pink kind-of-sticks that help the stall designer create vegetable frontiers among the different varieties of the kitchen-garden.
One springtime favourite recipe, for anyone who has tasted it, is rhubarb crumble.
